Good Points

Easily accessible control for carpet pile height. Sufficiently long cord.


Bad Points

Difficult to push/pull along a straight path. The unit tended to wander off to the left, requiring constant torque on handle to keep it on path.

The suction on attached hose was weak due to air leaks. Rotating brush keeps moving on floor while using the hose attachment.

Excessively noisy.


General Comments

I encountered this Dirt Devil MVP at my father's house. After one year it had substantial leaks in the suction system while using the hose attachment. Although noisy, the suction was ineffective. I had to fight the unit to make it follow a straight path. Watching the dirt go round in the collection tank is only mildly entertaining, I prefer a less-noisy unit with a conventional bagging system.
