I had a house fire they promised me rented accommodation. An interim payment to buy clothes and things and I got nothing they have left me homeless for the last eleven weeks. I made a statement 3 weeks ago about the night of the fire and am still waiting for the copy to sign I mean how can it take three weeks to type a statement, they sent a firm out to board the property up and they would not do it on grounds of health and safety I had to get my own builder in to board the property up which Norwich Union have not paid. They have made me feel like a criminal and are looking for every which way they can not to pay. I can't afford to pay a mortgage and pay rent as well I have already missed two mortgage payments now and I have never missed a payment until this fire. I also had to go and buy clothes because all I had was what I was standing in. I took this policy out with Marks and Spencer underwritten by Norwich Union all the stress nearly caused me to jump under a train I strongly advise no-one to go near Norwich Union or Marks & Spencer as it will end in tears.
