Good Points

Power and perfromance of a custom build machine but without the headache of building one myself! Although originally I had decided to build one myself I found that for the price this was well worth while, no more trouble shooting error codes and reinstalling windows for me!


Bad Points

It took me a while to get used to the Blackstar ATX case, but now it has found a nice home on the floor next to my desk and it seems to be keeping the system temperature down.


General Comments

Originally I had planned to build my next system myself, there are plenty of places to buy components cheaply on the net - but after looking into the P4's I found that after purchasing the processor 50% of my budget would have gone! The Althon XP came out and after a bit of research I was convinced. A few searches on the net and I found Gladiator offering what seemd to me as the ideal specification for a decent price. The GeForce 2 MX400 64MB was a real treat for my eyes, 3D games are now so good it is almost real. I was also well impressed with the 24x CDRW, backing up my MP3 collection to CD took minutes.
All in all a good price, and good quality specification and build, I got prompt delivery and will be back shopping with them as soon as I have saved enough for an LCD screen.
