We got the tickets.
It was stressful as hell, because of the poor communication.
We ordered two tickets for the Scotland-Italy Euro qualifier at Hampden Park. When we arrived in Glasgow from Canada, no tickets were at the hotel as had been arranged. After many phone calls and emails on the day and night before the game, we received a cellphone call saying the tickets had been delayed and that we would receive a call on game day.
We were not terribly encouraged by this, but about 5 hours before kick-off, we received a call and were told to meet someone at Hampden. This we did, and sure enough the guy was there with our names and our tickets.
We were thrilled that the arrangement worked out, but so much stress could have been avoided with simple communication. If Worldticketshop.com were to have people on hand before big events just for this purpose, their customer service would improve immensely. In its absence, they leave people who have shelled out large sums of money in a state of anxiety and doubt, with no viable means of contacting the company for reassurance. This is an unhealthy situation. They need a phone line with a live human being on the other end to handle queries from people who have every reason to panic.
