Good central location near bus stop
Bad Points
I experienced inadequate air conditioning, seemingly indifferent reception staff, bland food which was quite repetitive, no tea coffee making facilities in room (told by staff that this service was not available despite being listed on the website) No entertainment.
General Comments
Having read many good reviews on the website decided to switch my hotel to the Dolmen. On arrival we were put in a very small room which I felt was totally inadequate for three adults. Asked to be switched which they did quite readily almost as if they knew this was going to happen! New room slightly better but air conditioning did not appear to work properly. Asked for a free standing fan which just about made the room bearable. Food in restaurant was edible but quite bland and very much the same every night - I thought some of the vegetable dishes looked a bit dodgy - mashed potato looked green and crumbly. Entertainment - none except for televised football every night. Altogether very disappointing.
