The collected paperback version is cheaper and easier to find than the original DC/Vertigo comics.

Some may find it offensive.
A bit costly at the list price, get a discount if you can find one.

General Comments
The Garth Ennis,Steve Dillon, Preacher: Proud Americans book 3 finishes off a cliffhanger from Volume 2: Until the End of the World. There is also a story on the origins of Jesse Custer's Irish, vampire best bud Cassidy. This is cool stuff
