Cheap, no problems if you don't actually need them to do anything.
You get what you pay for.
Poor customer service.
Having had a policy with Swiftcover for 2 and half years, I tried to cancel the direct debit payment for my car insurance during the third year only to be told I had to pay a £102 early cancellation fee (my monthly payments where only £60!). I explained I could not pay this immediately and was informed that I had 2 weeks to pay otherwise they would take further action to pay.
Furthermore, as a company that is meant to be specialised in managing your policy by their website, there is no facility to cancel the policy via the web, meaning you have to ring them. When I purchase a car in the next couple of months I certainly will not be using this company again simply down to their poor attitude and they will hence lose out on approximately £600 worth of business.
