Good Points

The car is a brilliant long-legged beast and when I had one in W.Germany in the 70's it was great driving back to the UK on the autobahns at 100mph plus for mile after mile with the top down and in those days you could 'taste' the envy of other motorists!

Bad Points

Vapour locks on hot days were a problem and you had to get your lips around the petrol cap and blow like hell while a friend turned the engine over. Finish was poor both in the way it fitted together and interior wise so don't be fooled by people looking back with rose tinted glasses!

General Comments

Definitely a drivers car and you need a strong left leg for the heavy clutch so unless you are under 50 I would not recommend it for driving in heavy traffic. If you like to go around corners like 'a bat out of hell' it is a no-no as they handle like a house brick on corners and feel heavy like a Pajero?
Definitely not for blokes who only think they are 'he-men'!
