General Comments

My boyfriend and I decided to go out for a meal on the spur of the moment one Friday night. We hadn't booked a table anywhere,so jumped into a taxi and thought we'd decide once in town. The taxi dropped us off opposite Graze and neither of us had noticed it before so decided to have a look. We were pleasantly surprised, it was a stunning restaurant with a very modern and classy interior. We managed to get a table without booking and were seated by the window, looking out onto the courtyard. The menu was great, lots of choice and at a great price...around £15 for 2 courses or £17 for three. We had three courses, both opting for homemade fishcakes for starters, which were delicious. I then had spaghetti and meatballs for my main course, whilst my boyfriend chose Sausage and mash. The best thing about the whole meal was the dessert, for which I had classic cheesecake! I have to say it was the best cheesecake I have ever tasted...the portion was massive so couldn't eat it all, unfortunately!! The drinks were reasonably priced, about £4.50 for a large glass of wine. The atmosphere was very pleasant with jazz musicians playing. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone...and definitely have the cheesecake for dessert!!
