Good range of dresses.
Staff appeared reluctant to help.
This review is for Pronuptia Manchester. On arrival to the store, I entered to find no staff apparent on the shop floor- I think I passed the female member of staff smoking on the steps on the way in! I appreciate that people need breaks but bear in mind I had made an appointment and I didn't see her acknowledge me on the way in.
Once in the shop this member of staff was slightly surly and not particularly helpful. I had no idea what sort of dress i wanted as this was the first time i had looked and it took a lot of persuasion from myself to get her to offer some opinion or help. I was the only customer in the shop on a Monday morning!
The shoes i were given to try on with the dresses seemed filthy( inside and out) and had no lining inside.
The sales person made very little attempt to engage in conversation or offer any encouragement or compliment.
All in all i found my first experience of searching for my wedding dress less than positive to put it politely, Thank goodness all shops weren't the same.
I found this particular staff member slightly rude.
I certainly will not be purchasing any items from this shop
