Good Points

Hotel looks nice and the room we had was beautiful because we got one with an ocean view. People are very nice to you when you are in the process of purchasing a Time Share but beware after that!!


Bad Points

Promises were given to us at the time of sale but didn't seem to be kept when we went to book in the future. No one will take a reservation of a guaranteed ocean view - of which we were told all Time share room were. They are not!! Some overlook the parking lot.


General Comments

We are now in "negotiations" with NH Krystal Cancun Hotel about a 2 week October booking. They will not guarantee in any way that the unit will be ocean view. They only give you your assigned room 1 week before you arrive-of course you have already paid the maintenance fee- and again will not guarantee ocean view.
I have figured out that the reason for this could be so that the hotel can find out up to the last minute how many "all inclusive" guest are booked paying from $2,000.00-$4,000.00 and give them the ocean view rooms. Those of us who were STUPID enough to be sucked into purchasing a timeshare will be bumped back to the parking lot view rooms and told that they have no ocean views available to us - that's my theory. I have been contacting people at the hotel for 3 days and still get the run around. I have finally reached the Assistant Manager of the Hotel itself and he says he will look into the detail and then send an e-mail stating whether we get the ocean view or not. PLEASE PLEASE people, think twice about this promotion!! It is expensive and once you are on board you'll probably become the second, third, one hundredth in line for the same kind of unit you were shown during the promotion. If you ever go to the Krystal Hotel in Cancun and participate in one of their presentations, ask to see THE OTHER UNITS on the parking lot side of the building and how often you will be given those units for the sake of the "higher paying" guests. BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE!!
