Good Points

Heated seats (non-standard but worth it!), very good and powerful stereo, comfortable, reasonably economical but with good performance - especially on the motorway. Not a BMW or Audi so a bit different. Standard spec on the linera sport is pretty good.

Bad Points

Trim quality is a bit lacking- the rubberised coating on the dash and controls peels dreadfully especially if used by women with hand-cream on (must affect the coatings). Dealer is good but expensive. Sun-roof leaked, seatbelt mounting came loose!

General Comments

The Saab 9-3 is a nice, quick and comfortable car that is a pleasure to travel long distances in - the penalty is that handling is a bit understeer happy and not a patch on my previous car (MG-ZT). You get the feeling that they haven't quite got a handle on "Total Quality" at the SAAB factory and that they are a bit badly put together.
