Tastes good but not great

Bad Points

I feel it does not taste remotely close to it's bean version which is spectacular. Unfortunately Carte Noire bean is not available in the US

General Comments

I would recommend to save your money. For me, Carte Noire ground is not special at all. Ask your friends to bring you a pack of Carte Noire (bean) from their trip to Europe.
