Good Points
On FanArtReview.com, you receive feedback other members on the site. Everything you post gets feedback. That's guaranteed.
You can enter art and photography contests for free with cash prizes.
You can sell art and photography. Sales are commission free.
Bad Points
At first, on the site, I was a little confused. Since that time they added a "MY MENU" which organizes the site a little more. With so many features it can take a little time to get used to the site. Some members don't write as detailed a review as I would like. But overall I love the site.
General Comments
The feedback on photographs and paintings is usually detailed. You receive comments about what the member liked and also how it may be improved. Everything you post gets feedback.
Another good point about FanArtReview.com is that you can enter art and photography contests for free. There are cash prizes. I just counted fifty contests that I can enter. There are many different topics such as sharing a photograph of a baby, a pet. And more difficult topics such as taking a shot at a unique angle or a landscape shot at a state park. The contests are fun and unique.
The third thing I like is how it is geared towards selling art and photography. I can put everything I post up for sale. I set the price and I don't have to pay a commission. Some sites say they are geared towards selling but really are not. This site it is apparent. There are custom gadgets that art lovers can download for free. They show images on your computer that change throughout the day. The feedback engine encourages everyone to view and write review which gains exposure to the art.
Its a fun site if you are a photographer, painter, sculpture or other form of artist. You get a portfolio, gallery, can enter contests, and get feedback for everything you post. It's a terrific site.
