Never gives me backache even if i'm wearing it for hours as long as the straps aren't twisted - the wide straps really spread the weight and make it so comfy to wear; baby is well supported, loves being in there; you can bend forwards and baby won't fall out as long as you've got its head tucked in; can be worn three ways (cradle hold, upright facing in and upright facing out); baby can be popped in and out; it's washable; has a handy pocket for small bits like your phone and bus pass, probably even a spare nappy and travel sized pack of wipes; will fold up into its pocket to make a smallish bundle thus making it easily portable...
Not exactly bad as it's what you get with this type of sling... it is a really long piece of cloth so not one for taking off and retying when you're out and about but this isn't really a problem if you don't mind keeping it on whilst your baby's not in it. Also, the nature of this type of sling means it takes a few minutes to tie and a few attempts to get used to it and tie it tight/loose enough for your baby. So, unless you've already got it on, it's not one for quickly putting your baby in to keep them quiet for a minute.
The Hug-a-Bub sling is great, even comes with dvd instructions. My baby loves it too.
