This is my second time purchasing a pair of shoes that were very cute but after wearing them for 3 months have cracks and a split across the bottom of the shoe.
I did shop from in Cathy's Jeans store prior to 2006. I purchased a pair of shoes and the strap broke. Same thing happened to me. I can't believe how similar my situation was to another complaint I read. The Manager who was not available in the department could never be reached by phone. If you left a message it was never returned.
Took the shoes to the store and the girls were amazed and had never seen that happen before, told me to check with the manager on Wednesday. Called and spoke to the manager, gave her the serial number and was told we do no have the shoes in stock and the best thing she could do was offer me a 10% discount on shoes on any other shoe in the store. Oh! I am such a valued customer, this was the best they could do. I have other shoes in my closet that I have had for 5 years. Worn, yes! But not broken.
I told the manager this is the best you can do for shoes that cost over $60 and I can't even wear them.
The company has a lot to learn about customer service.
