Long lasting, accurate and quite powerful when maintained properly. Very simple to operate, few vices. Ideal first rifle - and beyond...
Looks a tad "mickey mouse" compared to the current crop of full power spring rifles, but looks are deceiving :)
I think mine is a mark 3 or 4 - plastic sight bodies and end cover, wooden stock, no chequering. Its 30 years old this year!! Bought it for the present day equivalent of 8 litres of unleaded, thats 55 South African Rands. Recently fitted a new spring and seals and this transformed the rifle. I sense that the new spring is more powerful than the original which has caused a bit of a twang when its fired. It also seems as if the barrel may be slightly bent, but I have been able to zero the sights. Have just fitted a 4x32 scope and keen to see how she performs at 30 - 50 m
