Looked like a good value machine.


General Comments

First one leaked after 6 months. Wrote to supplier twice, but no reply yet. Fortunately I'd bought it from Argos, so could have replacement. The replacement machine's plastic tubing doesn't get to the bottom of the water container (it's 6 cm too short - trivial complaint, but still annoying. When de scaling there is a lot of solution that can't be used as the machine 'thinks' the water tank is empty)
The end piece for frothing milk is made of too soft a plastic to withstand unscrewing for cleaning. After a few times the screw-threads had worn, & it won't re-attach. I now have to be content with espressos, or froth the milk with a battery-powered 'frother'.
I would not recommend this product to my friends. I haven't any experience of other machines to compare, so at the moment I have not replaced it with anything else.
