Good Points

Easy access from M62 motorway and Manchester Ring Road. The Lowry Centre itself is a good example of modern architecture. The permanent exhibition of Lowry's work is beautifully shown. Good coffee bar!

Bad Points

None!

General Comments

The Lowry Centre is a super day out. The gallery is a lovely modern building and it has the permanent exhibition of Lowry's work as well as other artists. If you want to see the Lowry exhibition or other exhibitions - if you want to walk across the plaza and shop in the multi story Retail Shopping Centre it is a great day out. The architecture of the gallery, the bridge and surrounding area is modern and well recorded by the many photographers who come for that purpose. To end the day you can go to the cinema in the multi story Shopping Centre!
