Good Points

Good Location.


Bad Points

The Smell, the dated furniture, the worn carpets, the renovations, the smell.


General Comments

We complained about the first room it was tiny and the smell was making us gag (we couldn't quite work out what it was). We moved to a room which was a lot bigger and didn't smell quite so strange but I didn't take my clothes out of the case to be on the safe side.
In fairness the room wasn't dirty, just dated and nothing like the pictures in any brochure etc. The staff were relatively pleasant but I felt sorry for them as they seemed to be getting a hard time with other complaining guests.
We checked out after the first night and stayed somewhere else... the manager said he couldn't comment on the smell as he had a cold and the staff member who had dealt with the previous days complaint claimed ignorance.
I wouldn't stay here again and if you must, make sure you get one of the best rooms otherwise you will almost certainly be disappointed.
