Good Points

This is a quality helmet with a secure and comfortable feel to it. The 'seat belt' type buckle is great for doing up or undoing with gloves on. Internal sun visor is excellent and makes me realise how uncomfortable I used to be wearing sunglasses.

Bad Points

The lid is noisy, no doubts about it! But then it's a flip, more gaps = more noise. Rain gets inside the visor, never had this before, distracting at best, dangerous at worst. No cut outs for ear pads for intercom.

General Comments

This is a noisy helmet, I ride a naked bike and use an intercom with SatNav, music and VHF radio. I can't hear stuff above 60, sometimes less, which is a real pain. I've even gone for specialist ear plugs, this has helped, but not much! In heavy rain or spray, water finds its way down the inside of the visor unless its fully clicked shut all the time (not practicle in stop/start traffic) I've had to cut out spaces for the intercom ear pads, something I'm not happy about and would effect the resale value if I sold it on. Having said that, it's got a really secure feel to it, the vents work well in the summer, the inner sun visor is fantastic and, mechanically, it has to be one of the best flips I've owned. It is value for money, but next time I will go for a quieter lid with built in bluetooth, I think.

I agree with this review because...it is a quality item for the price even though it's noisey at speed; however, I'm puzzled to hear that yours doesn't have indents for earpieces in the moulded foam (behind the lining)! Mine has and I've successfully fitted an autocom headset without any difficulty. My helmet is getting a little old now and frayed around the edges so I'm looking to replace it soon. I'm considering buying a Nolan N-Com 103 Flipface with the built in comms next time but I need to check if it's compatible with my present autcom setup first. The Nolan now has the inner dark visor like the Caberg Justisimo and appears to be a little more robust all round but appearances can be deceptive! The difficulty will be in establishing if it is any quieter on the road?
