Good Points

Powerful. No need to repump as air pressure is conserved in the chamber. Approx 36J .Rounded pellets are best. Try JSB 0.22 (5.5) FIELD 16grain for long distance. 100m hunting consistency of less than 2inches is achievable and able to bring down a rabbit. But do it with a 5.5 not 4.5!! Buy this in a 5.5mm version is my advice as its a powerful hunter at 26bar. I like hunting at long distances. I bought my own pump and accessories. The safety can be reset when you decide not to fire.

Bad Points

It can be costly to fix/replace and parts hard to track down. You have to have a head for pressures up to 377psi (26bar) if you want to fix it yourself. Recoil is big. It scares birds and rabbits so a Weihrauch silencer is a must (does not require removal of the front sight). The fill port thread is not standard probably DIN. Buy a spare fill port cover screw and thread it on the other side to M3,4,or 5? to make your own hose connector to connect to schrader thread on a mountain bike suspension pump like "Scott shock pump pro 600"( is to 40bar). Cocking is tough at 26bar but you can reduce the pressure. Rusting will occur if you don't oil it.

General Comments

Don't recharge the gas ram with anything except air. Use pure Oxygen and you will die. Don't use pellets over 18grains. Light pellets also not good as they become unstable. Barracuda (kodiaks) 21 grains pellets are probably too heavy as its the piston seal that will be punished time and time again. BKL260 1 pce mounts seem to be a good mount. You can get droop types in this mount . Scopes need to be good quality otherwise its hit and miss. You never see Leupold 3x9-33 EFR (58710) in any bad review blogs. I went for the best I could afford. Expensive scopes are also easy to sell if you bought at a good price. When breaking the barrel do not let the barrel go until you have heard the cocking sound. letting go without proper cocking causes piston slam into the breech which can cause gas ram failure. (buy spare piston seals, all other orings are cheap). Same with dry firing without pellet, don't do it.I went to gas rams because springs are too primitive and tuning them keeps all the air rifle shops in business. You can change the air pressure to whatever you want. With exacts 16grains: 187m/s is 17J, 202m/s is 21J (15bar), 265m/s is 36J (26bar). Gets to page 330 in phone book from 45meters using 18grains. May not penetrate animal at 100m but will knockout.
Also watch out the sales people don't sell you a barrel with excessive optical droop. Some scope cannot compensate for it unless you buy one that can.Don't lend it to friends as it may be mistreated.
