Good Points

Light weight, comfortable straight out of the box. Good for occasional walker.

Bad Points

Leather is not the best quality for the money and once worn starts to feel even less so. My main concern is that the sole unit wore down so much that I was slipping after 4 months of wear. The fact that Brasher will replace the sole unit (for £35) is a mixed blessing and points more to the fact that they really don't wear well.

General Comments

If you look around you can get these boots on the web for just short of £100. They are widely touted as the most popular hill walking boots in the UK, however, for an extra £20 or less if you webtraw,l and get the slightly older model, you can get a pair of Scarpa Ranger GTX - better quality leather, Vibram sole unit (there's a good reason that the majority of boots with a RRP over £100 use Vibram) and hardly any trade off in weight. I've just made this replacement and have learnt my lesson.
