Good Points

There are good offers on the TV but see below

Bad Points

Trying to get service from Customer Service is a "No No"
Held on Telephone for up to 30 minutes with intermittent checks to see customer holding - not good when calling from France!
Offers indicated as free P&P to UK turn out not to be when the order is placed on line

General Comments

I ordered goods for card making following a Special Offer weekend on TV which advertised free P&P. Before the order was submitted it was noticed that P&P had been added. Called Customer Service and they said an adjustment would be made to my account and the P&P amount of £10.00 would be deducted on my next order. 5 weeks later I wanted to order an item to the value of £9.99 and attempted to do so. On line there was no reference to a credit so I called Customer Service. They said they would take the order but I had to spend £10 or more before the Discount Voucher could be used. I did not have a Discount Voucher the money owing was always MINE and there should have been no restrictions on reimbursement. I spoke to a friend who asked me to place an order for her too so I called Customer Services again to place the order for £19.98 to be told that I had to spend £40 or more to get back my £10 - AGAIN, THIS WAS MY MONEY NOT IDEAL WORLDS! Eventually I managed to place the order after a long wait on the telephone, calling from France. When my phone account arrives I will scrutinise same and consider I should be reimbursed for any cost incurred by the Misrepresentation of orders placed through Ideal World. I expect an apology. I have written to Peterborough Office, recorded delivery and certainly would never consider using them again.
