Good Points

versatile family MPV. Practical, diesel has more appeal for high milage especailly with 60k manufacturers warranty providing serviced by main dealers! comfortable, good brakes (in contrast to VW MK3 estate diesel, my previous car) High sitting postion, safer to drive, popular, with all extras like air con, electric windows spacious for its size.

Bad Points

For a very popular family car parts are expensive, engine compartment too compact for working on, not for diy! Too much speculation about the timing belt replacement intervals, Citroen says 70-100k, others recommend 30k Authorised dealers servicing expensive e.g. clutch replacement Priced from 800-1100 quid-actual cost of 3 piece clutch kit is about 100 quid,-the paint on the wheels is so thin, without undercoat? The spare rusts under the car if not cleaned for a while; the exhaust starts to rust after 2 years Secondhand parts difficult to locate diesel desire hdi 2 litre gearboxes, secondhand prices are high in contrast to other cars Parts at main dealers have to be ordered, most parts are not stocked.

General Comments

Bought New, loses too much value resale value but seconhand values reasonable providing with service history may be a good bargain as a family MPV.
-May be cheaper to service in France.
