Good Points

Reasonably priced inkjet printer. Excellent Tech Support and Warranty if required.


Bad Points

Print prone to smudges, available only with USB connection and is quite noisy


General Comments

Printer installation proved irksome as I made the cardinal mistake of not following the on screen instructions to the letter/mouse click. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO INSTALL SOFTWARE THROUGH WINDOWS - USE THE SUPPLIED CD. When I did follow the instructions to the letter, software installed without a problem. Printer drivers installed on Win 98 SE. Have heard about alleged Win 2000 OS conflicts but apparently workable driver software can be obtained easily.

Print quality is good however it can be prone to smudging if paper is handled too soon after ejection from printer.

Printer is not supplied with a USB cable so this is an additional cost.

Reason for purchase was as cheapish, second printer for kids to use for schoolwork. It achieves this acceptably but would not purchase as a primary printer.
