New car in good condition
Long delays at Palma arrivals desk.
Fuel tank half empty instead of full - no interest from the staff
The efficiency of the staff at Palma was desperate. It took 30 minutes to deal with each person and there appeared that each booking had a problem. I was fourth in the queue. We had booked this rental from the UK using Holiday Autos and had taken out CDW insurance with them. The man at the desk said that they would not be proving any insurance what so ever and any claims must be settled with them by credit card and I could get the money refunded from Holiday Autos when returning to the UK.
I was told that the fuel tank was full and it had to be returned full or they would keep my '75 which they took from a Visa card. When we eventually found the car (we were given totally the wrong location, the fuel tank was only half full. The man we found at the parking office was not interested saying we should return to the arrival desk. This option was not considered so this resulted in '40 extra that we had to pay.
On the positive side the car was new and was fine to drive.
