Anissaras, Aloi Hotel Review

Good Points
Excellent service from staff. Spotlessly clean & comfortable rooms. Good food. Very friendly atmosphere. Because of the ambience & friendliness of the staff, whatever country you are from people tend to mix. We have made friends with not only British but Dutch & German - in fact we spent Easter in Germany with out friends we have met at the hotel & who we hope to see again in September.

Bad Points
We cannot stay there long enough.

General Comments
The staff & hotel are fantastic. We go twice a year which is not enough. There is so much to see and do and the staff are only too happy to advise you of the best places to visit i.e the villages in the hills - Old Hersonissos, Koutolofari, Piskopiano and if you want night life - Hersonissos - all within a 2 minute taxi drive - or you could walk along the beach to Anissaras - another lovely area, or Kouves - just a short walk from Anissaras!
And if you want to take a boat ride there are so many places to visit - Spinalonga, Sissi, Elounda - many things to do and see. We still have to explore many parts of Crete and with the help of the staff at Aloi we will achieve our aim of seeing everything. We cannot express our thanks to all at Aloi enough for their first friendly welcome when we were new to Crete & their continued enthusiasm when we return. They are all fantastic.
