Good Points

For the size of engine, this is a very economical car. At around 50mpg general running about and 66mpg on long journeys and a top speed of 100mph, this is fine by me. What a pity that fuel suppliers have chosen to price-penalise owners of diesel-fuelled cars! Plenty of room inside and feels - Tardis-like - somewhat larger than it actually is.

Bad Points

Like all modern cars, the Fiat Idea is far too dependent on electronics. The central locking system on mine is certainly over-complicated in sequencing - in fact, I'm not absolutely sure that it works correctly all the time.

General Comments

The Fiat Idea Multijet is fundamentally a practical vehicle of the "mini MPV" class. A willing workhorse with only a few frills. If you're looking for something to show off in, this is not the car for you.
