Cheap cars, friendly staff, well know brand and partners
Some times you have to queue to get through.
I initially contact DC Cook back in December to order a Mondeo Diesel the prices were attractive but new-car-discount were cheaper by a few hundred pounds. The salesman I was dealing with at the time told me why they were more expensive i.e. bigger company, service departments etc and at the time I though this to be a usual sales pitch! I couldn ' t have been more wrong, I decided to go with the cheaper option of new-car-discount and placed a £1000 deposit with them in December. What a mistake, they are now in administration and because I chose to pay on a debit card I have just lost my money. At this time I didn ' t know what to do my wife was in tears and we had no car and no £1000 deposit. We then decided to try DC Cook again and looked on their site to see that their prices had gone up £500, I called in and spoke to the sales guy I had dealt with before and he quickly pulled up my original quote. I explained what had happened, my salesman said he would speak to his sales controller and see what he could do to help us out. Somehow between him and managers they honoured the deal I was initially offered and some how managed to get me some more discount to compensate for my loss with the other company! I have got to say that this has really made my year and my new car is now due early September, up to now I have had my paper work and receipt for my deposit and 2 or 3 calls to make sure I was ok and to let me know the car was fine. I find it very difficult to understand what the other reviews are going on about if cars are late it is part of life and I ' m sure DC Cook are doing their best to help Thanks again guys for sorting me out!
