The products worked very well for my daughter with learning difficulties. the Mannatech Ambrotose tablets worked but they are very expensive.

    I disagree with this review because... pills do not help with complex social problems. It is interesting that you assume that any improvement in your daughter's learnig abilities are down to a pill. I would suggest that your daughter experienced a placebo effect or benefited fom the extra attention she received from her parent when providing the pills.

    Pills do not help with learning difficulties and I find it distasteful that a company would try and make money by pretending that they do. There is zero acceptable evidence that these pills help with learning difficulties (in fact even Mannatech do not sugget that these pills cure problems with learning difficulties).

    Parents will of course want to do anything they can to help their children, but there is no sound evidence for this anecdote.

    If anyone wants to search for the scientific evidence for these pills take a look for ambrotose in pubmed www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/ it doesn't take very long! No benefit has been found.

    Hey Horcrux, can you find evidence that Centrum Silver is a good vitamin in PubMed? No you can't because they don't test specific products.

    But what you forgot to tell everyone is that these sugars are found in research published in PubMed and other online places.

    Just search:
    fucose
    mannose
    N-acetylgalactosamine
    N-acetylglucosamine
    N-acetylneuraminic acid
    Galactose
    Zylose
    Glucose

    I found this review helpful because...Just because parents know their kids better than some anonymous person who just wants to keep other people from trying something that could help them. Just because they are biased against what ever doesn't fit their paradigm.
