General Comments
I ordered a quite expensive metal headboard from Beds Direct at end of March 2008 on an "up to 28 days unless we advise otherwise delivery". Heard nothing and queried after 4 weeks, 5 weeks and 6 weeks, finally received item after 7 weeks, with no assembly instructions, badly packaged, scratched and dirty and with no guarantee, or any other paperwork for that matter. Contacted Bedsdirect with details and was told order number acts as guarantee, assembly instructions are not supplied with any headboards. They completely ignored my request for an explanation or apology regarding condition of the product. I have emailed and rung five times leaving messages and I have advised that reluctantly I am prepared to leave a negative review, but still nobody has contacted me so far.
