Good Points

Great built in speaker. Audio quality playback good. Video playback not very clear, but decent. Line in recording decent - choose from 32k bps up to 192 bps. Decent battery life. FM radio good quality. Able to record radio in mp3 format. Cheap yet sturdy build. (No problem if it drops on the floor.) Has a text reader and tetras style game. Comes with a battery charger - so no need to be near a computer for charging. Good USB file transfer speed. Well worth it for a budget player.

Bad Points

Image viewer very bad. No zoom function. Voice recorder not so good quality. Does not actually play mp4 format videos. (Comes with software to convert videos to amv format.) Not easy to navigate for people who are not used to computer interfaces. (You need good video encoding software to prepare files to input into the provided amv encoder.) During video encoding, aspect ratios can get distorted, depending on input file.

General Comments

The Sumvision Yumi Pro has more features and fun than my ipod nano 3rd generation for some reason. Good if you want to show people 'cell phone quality' videos when out and about thanks to the built in speaker.
