Good Points

Close to home

Bad Points

Far too expensive when compared to the "top class" gym I went to in the middle of London. Over double to what I paid!

General Comments

I have been a member of the "Dartford/Darenth" branch for 4 years. It's closer to home these days than the gym I used to go to, which was much nicer, larger, friendly staff & members, MUCH cheaper & better all round.

NONE of the trainers speak to you. I have had one smile at me in all this time - but to ask how you're getting on training wise - no chance!. They won't tell anyone if they are using the equipment incorrectly.

No one stops little kids from using the machines or from sneaking under the barriers to get into the Celsius area. Infact NO STAFF MEMBER CHALLENGES anyone that "sneaks"
into the Celsius area. Does the CCTV at the entrance actually work? What are Celsius members paying extra for???? A 6 minute sunbed session a WEEK? I might as well stand underneath a match!

The not so hot sauna in the celsius area (the one with the multi-coloured lights) is pointless. The door never seems to shut & people use it as a rubbish dump for their newspapers & empty water bottles.

The aromatherapy room is totally pointless as well. They might as well demolish it.

The "hot" sauna used to have little lights in the ceiling that changed colour, that feature seems to be no longer. However you still couldn't see if anyone was on the top bench when you entered the sauna, so there's still a risk of somone sitting on you, if you are lying down.

Oh, and the age it takes to get your towel card back whilst the receptionists natter away to each other, either that or there is one receptionist with a long line of people to help..

The changing room usually represents a children's playground with screaming kids everywhere. The adults leave empty shower gel bottles everywhere & if you couldn't
swim - then you would need a canoe just to navigate the floor due to the amount of water on it.

Things take a age to get fixed & the cleaners insist on hoovering around the equipment whilst you're using it.

If you complain - nothing gets done - but they'll gladly take your money.
