General Comments

I bought an HW77, carbine, in .177 last week, having read all the reviews.
Fitted a Hawke 3-9x40 mil-dot scope and took it to an outdoor range with variety of the 'pop-up' targets up to 100 yards. I zeroed it at 35 yards and then started potting targets at different ranges...... Astonishingly, (considering it is only the 4th time I've ever used an air rifle), I was soon hitting targets at 60 yards once I'd got the hang of the scope. Some shots were inconsistent and I had a number of rogue shots (dieseling??) probably due to it being new. My grand finale was hitting a 1 inch metal disc target at 100 yards and hanging tin cans at the same distance. I'm now going to upgrade the scope to a more powerfull one!
All in all, then, this is a fantastic air-rifle - way better than I thought it would be, and I had high expectations.
