Good Points

Nice contemporary design. It seats 16, so is quite intimate. The service was great - friendly but professional, helpful but relaxed. Our helper made us feel extremely welcome, and was able to provide background information on the sourcing of the food she was serving.
Food was fine.

Bad Points

Portion size. We ate three courses, and bread, and coffee, but I walked home peckish and actually snaffled something else as soon as I got into the house. Having said that my (7 stone lighter) dining partner, who'd eaten a more robust starter than the one I chose, complained about feeling overfull. Vive la difference. There was one other party eating while we were there (friday and saturday had been fully booked, so we went early on sunday evening). We found the other party's conversation a little invasive. I couldn't decide whether it would have been less intrusive had the restaurant been full of the soft murmurings of 16 diners jabbering away might be unbearable. Having said that, I urge you to book a table and find out for yourselves.

General Comments

Fooda Slice restaurant in Swansea was great. Much, if not all of it, was locally produced (even including the bottled Welsh lager). We chose from 4 starters, mains and deserts. We particularly enjoyed the sea bass, the creme brulee and the local cheese (with homemade crackers).
The cost of dinner for two plus one bottle of beer came to £65 which was just about OK, though I'd have liked an extra potato or two.
