Only downsides to owning a FTO is you`d like a little more power, the central locking gets lazy, anti roll bar bushes need replacing (cheap fix) and the std brakes are the first aftermarket part that needs changing. Other than that its a brilliant car.
Owned my Mitsubishi FTO 2.0 GPX Mivec now for 8 years. Loved it every day I`ve had it and every day I've driven it. Looks can't be beaten and the sound of the mivec at 3000 rpm is simply awesome.
Buy a good one and it will never let you down.
When you buy one youll use the words love and smile a lot and the immortal words "theres nothing I can think of that could replace it".
