Feminine designs, great colours, large 42 sizes.
Customer service, quality, prices.
The shoes used to be fantastic a few years ago but the designs have lost a lot in the past 4 to 5 years. Now it seems that the company only buys shoes from designers and only copies them, which is shame as their price now almost reaches the designers' prices. This leads me to the point about prices. Shoes at LK.Bennett were quite affordable but the prices have gone up recently and not in a good way. For instance, I have seen shoes go up as far as 30 pounds in a couple of weeks just because their were good sellers. How can you change a price DURING the season! I've seen some boot go from 99 to 119 to 129 pounds in less than 3 weeks! Worse, seen some shoes go from 99 to 129 pounds one Monday and then put them back at 99 on the Tuesday as mid-season sales! If you want some good deals, wait for the sales or go to the clearance stores. You'll be surprised. One last trick, if you befriend a member of staff, you may get a special invitation to the family and friends 70% off days...
As for customer service, I have to say that it is sometimes very bad and I have witnessed some appalling behaviour from some staff, but the thing is that the company I feel have such a bad consideration of their employees that these don't stay in the company long enough to be trained about proper customer services! I would still point out that I've met some really professional people like a manager and other store managers who I spoke to on the phone many times and some who went as far as fixing some faults on some shoes for fear the cobbler would damage the shoes. The last time I spoke to this person, they went as far as buying some material to create a new detail as a replacement of one a customer lost from her shoe! The customer was so pleased she got him a bottle of champagne!
As a conclusion, I would not recommend this company and I would advise to chose carefully the branch you shop at . As for faulty shoes, avoid the customer service helpline which I think is the worst service you can get , and try to deal (stay quite and polite) with a shop manager. And above all, keep your receipt at least a year!
