Nice design, sturdy build.
Fluctuating reception quality
highest call sound is not very loud
echo on calls
battery life is unimpressive
I've had the Sony Ericsson W380i phone for several weeks. You definitely get what you pay for.
This is not worth the £80 I paid for it. I looks good and is well made, and fits well in the hand, but there the advantages end.
The keys are stiff, it's not good for texting. The screen resolution is poor. It doesn't always ring when you get a call, this may be due to the poor reception.
For a Walkman the music sound quality is average at best. I don't use a phone for photo or video, but I do insist on good reception and call quality. This phone does not deliver.
Even on standby the battery life is poor. I really like Sony Ericssons, but have found only the higher price bracket are worth having. Their budget phones are not great quality.
Luckily I held onto my w880i. I will be going back to that one immediately.
