I purchased a Shanghai model'62'' and cannot find out anything about it. i purchased it at a flea market, and it seems to be literally indestructible! It has been dropped on rocks, discarded in the bushes by the sea, filled with dirt and actually buried! yet it still works. Does anyone have info. re: this model'62'', year manufactured, etc?
General Comments
Please, if anyone knows anything re: Shanghai model " 62", which also has a diamond with a letter 'H' inside the diamond, at the stock end of the barrel, please let me know. ie: date of manufacture, history, etc. It is quite accurate, and shoots well. originally it shot high and left, and, as it only has an elevation site at the back, and a fixed front site inside a circle, and no windage adjustments, it took some getting used to. I know nothing about it, as I purchased it 2nd or 3rd? hand at a flea market. It had been dropped and abused, yet seems to be indestructible. Does anyone have any info. re: this model. It is break open and fires the .177 pellet.
