Overall Rating
- Value for money

- FormatPaperback
This is a great book for people who always thought that running a marathon would be cool or exciting. This book gets novice or unprepared athletes ready to finish a marathon.
Bad Points
Takes a very methodical approach to marathon training, does not push you to perform at your best because they argue that this is how you get injured.
General Comments
This is a great book for those of us who want to run a marathon but have always thought that other people do that kind of crazy stuff. It takes a very sensible and well thoughtout approach to the physical and psychological aspects of long distance training and I hope it will help me finish my first marathon this year.
