General Comments
If you are a true fan of fantasy writing, you will not read this book!! It is a mockery of all that is good about fantasy. My opinion might be a little prejudiced because I had not the strength or patience to finish the book, but I'm warning anyone that this book was/is a terrible read. It starts out as a sappy romance novel, which would be ideal if you were looking for that sort of book; as for me, I wasn't in the least! I was looking for a great fantasy book to contend with Robert Jordan, Terry Goodkind, or even J.R.R. Tolkein, but was sorely disappointed. If you love fantasy, this book is not for you. The plot seems to go nowhere interesting.
