Good Points

It can really put out a lot of steam.


Bad Points

No water gauge. Water needs to be refilled frequently, doesn't last. I was told the steam would last for hours. Doesn't get hot enough to get out wrinkles without using the steam.


General Comments

I bought this iron Nov 2007. I am sending it back again today for the fourth time. It has been replaced twice for a sticking valve that makes it steam continuously, but won't stop until it runs out of water. The next time it stopped working, it was the thermostat. The iron was barely warm. It was repaired this time. They said the internal setting was set too low, so the reset it. It was return with a stain on the sole plate that looks like corrosion. So it is going back again today for a replacement. I am sorry that I bought this iron. They definitely have quality control and customer service issues. I had to go buy another back up iron because they have my iron more than I do. I'm a sewer and quilter. I can't be without an iron. Another thing I wasn't told when I was first looking at the iron at the sew expo, is that there are NO REFUNDS. So beware, if you are thinking of buying this iron. It is not worth the $200 or the hassle of contantly sending it back for replacement/ repairs. What am I going to do when the warranty runs out?

    I got my iron back after being replaced again. I asked them to test the new iron before sending it to me. The first time I used it, it leaked a little. It did this almost everytime I used it. Now, it heats up, but only puts out a little puff of steam. I checked the water, it was fine. Still it only heats and no steam. The button is not stuck like before. So tomorrow the new iron will be going back to the company for repairs again. That is 5 times it has gone back. Customer service didn't make any apologies. They seemed irritated. Well, I paid a lot for this iron and I expect to have one that works for more than a month. I am disappointed in the quality of this iron. I wish I could get my money back, but there are no refunds. So I can only give you my review and hope that you think twice before you buy this iron.
