None - disastrous holiday
Dirty caravan, overpriced entertainment, bad food, little or nothing to do for adults, customer service left a lot to be desired
I have been on many British holidays parks but this is the worst experience I have ever had, a complaint letter has gone to Haven regarding the way we were treated at our recent visit to Haggerston castle, however their response was so insulting, we have decided to write this review.
There is very little to do when you get there, the entertainment passes only let you into the pool, the overpriced slot machines, the bowling, which you have to pay for and all the other entertainment that you still have to pay for. The bar areas were filthy and the swimming lessons were pricey. All the other stuff like the bikes and the boats etc were still for hire, despite having paid for entertainment passes and at their prices you would be daft to hire one.
The staff are ignorant at best, don't expect to get any response at housekeeping, we waited ten minutes, several people just walked past us and ignored us. Caravans were trashed, loud shouting, swearing, groups of immature adults seeing how much alcohol could be consumed in a short space of time, bored children wandering unaccompanied and where was the beach! This park advertises a beach nearby, mmm very close if you have a car and can drive to Berwick, we walked around the park several times to find this 'beach', and never found it. Definitely not one to visit again.
