General Comments

Friendly and informative staff. Good food and products at reasonable prices. Relaxed atmosphere, minimum queuing and good cross section of exhibits. Easy parking and compact layout. Film and theatre were good (all the children were able to join the cast!). Nearly didn't visit because of negative reviews but took 4 children (2x10 and 2x12) who had been reared on theme parks etc. We stayed all day and not one asked to go home early! We would all recommend this to friends and their schools for visit. Well done DW!

    I disagree with this review because... this was not my experience at all. Over the last 12 months I have seen numerous negative reviews that echoed my visit to Dickens World over a year ago. I find it hard to believe that someone can be giving such a 'glowing' (yet somehow impersonal) 10/10 review does not have an undeclared interest in the venue.

    I totally agree with the first comment, I went over a year ago not long after it opened. My experience was totally in accordance with all the negatives reviews. When I went the excuse of opening problems/teething trouble was plausible but identical complaints being made up to the present day. The 10/10 reviewers are distinctly suspect.
