Good Machine, starts & works well, good value for domestic garden work.
Very Very poor spares service, I am just glad I was not requiring the parts urgently
Overall this Ryobi PCN-4545 is well worth the money, although I did have some trouble sourcing parts. The On/Off switch failed after one use, however, the machine was returned to Ryobi and this fault was repaired & the machine has been working well ever since.
Obtaining spare parts is almost impossible as Ryobi Direct pass the customer on to another company called augmented spares who in turn don't seem sure of the product as they appear to lack product knowledge.
Recently I endevoured to order a replacement chain from Ryobi, they passed me to the aforementioned company, they took the order and after two weeks the item has not been received.
Having made a telephone enquiry as to why this should be , I was informed on Wednesday 04/06/08 that the item was being despatched that day second class and to expect delivery by Friday 6th, if not it will be Monday 9th.
