Gerbils like to chew so dont leve them were they can chew part of your furniture they do smell after a while they are not realy suitable for children under the age 6 because thay are very delicate and little children can be quite rough they are more good things than bad things on gerbils.
General Comments
I like gerbils bacause they are normaly sweet and nice if you handle them from a young age then they will be used to you and tamed. I used to have 5 gerbils but I had them when they was babys so they was very still very well tamed and lovin and nice.
