Good Points

It's a Harley!
Great for the City and Excursions.
Comfortable, stable ride.


Bad Points

Can get pretty hot in the summer if stuck in traffic.
A little too heavy on sharp turns.
Shock abosrbers could be softer.


General Comments

I'm 36 years old and two years ago, I bought an Piaggio MP3 three-wheeled maxi scooter. I live in Naples, Italy and the traffic is pretty intense. I got tired of this and bought a normal 400 cc scotter after 7 months. Then one splendid day, my brother in-law let me drive his 2004 Sportster. It was love at first ride. I sold my scooter (lost a lot of money) and bought an 883 xl Sportster. All the things they say (it's heavy in traffic, it's not agile, it's slow).........it' all urban legend. It's a Harley and you gotta love it. The ride is smooth, it's essential look is part of its beauty. You get looks from everyone on the street. It's like a magnet. Yes, it's not perfect but there is no perfect bike out there. If you're looking for a cruising bike and one that's good for the city, this is your bike. Forget all that plastic from the Japanese bikes. This is good ol' American steel and chrome. Classy!
