Not much punch in the engine but didn`t buy it for speed. Have had an annoying low crackle from dashboard main dealers havent been able to sort. Fuel economy on dashboard doesn`t change whatever driving you are doing which I believe reading other reviews is in American gallons and not a true reading?
General Comments
The Hyundai Tucson is a nice family car with a good 5 year warranty- I compared it with similar vehicles- Freelander, Honda CRV and this one came out on top- features, value for money etc. Opening rear boot window which I thought was gimmicky is a good feature either for loading the car or on the odd occasion I have had to move long planks of wood etc. I have owned the car for 3 years from new and overall very happy with it- touch wood no mechanical faults and running very well.
