Good Points

This book is a very thorough, well-organized guide to herbal magick. The sections make a lot of sense, and the book is an easy to use reference written by an experienced herbalist and magician. It is an essential part of any pagan's bookshelf.

General Comments

The Compendium is one of the fundamental texts for any person who studies paganism, herbal magick, astrology, or other occult arts. The information contained within draws from folkloric and historical traditions and other respected resources. The author's 30 plus years of experience as an author, teacher, herbalist, and magician make this one of the most often reached for texts on my bookshelf.
